Level: All
Instructor: Cathy Toll
This workshop is designed for qualified clay studio members (completion of a 4+ week course at VCAC) who want to learn more about glazing (or missed the glaze portion of their course). The focus of Glazing 101 is mastering the basics. By learning about the safety and science of glazing, you’ll avoid the common disappointments potters face when pieces come out of the kiln. We’ll explore dip and paint, two dip glazing, and you’ll learn what glazes play well with one another and which ones to use with caution. Register today and start achieving more beautiful glaze finishes.
Students should to bring three to five bisque pieces to glaze that have been made and fired at the VCAC.
