The VCAC invites you to see the works for our Winter exhibit: “Pops of Colour”. Local artists use pops of vibrant colour to create emphasis and to draw your attention to certain aspects of their art. All artwork has been submitted by members of the Arts Council of the North Okanagan, who work in a variety of mediums.

We invite artists to cast aside colour palettes and focus on the visual power of art in grayscale shades. Lying between black and white, creating in shades of gray encourages the artist to concentrate on shadow, composition, value, lighting, and form, and to focus on the image or subject.
