Shades of Gray – Show & Sale

Vernon Community Arts Centre 2704a Highway 6, Vernon, BC

We invite artists to cast aside colour palettes and focus on the visual power of art in grayscale shades. Lying between black and white, creating in shades of gray encourages the artist to concentrate on shadow, composition, value, lighting, and form, and to focus on the image or subject. It can also be a powerful way to express emotion or draw importance through symbolism. Open daily from Feb 2 to 27, 2023 at the Vernon Community Arts Centre. Free entry, donations welcome.
