Level: All Levels
Discover the versatile and expressive world of collagraph printmaking with the tinfoil technique; a fun and simple introduction to printing. In a relaxed atmosphere, students will go through each step required to create a collagraph print: building a plate, preparing the ink and paper, and using the printing press. Bring an apron or an old shirt, a sketchbook, a folder for completed prints and some materials to create texture (eg, tissue paper, embossed textured paper, cupcake liners, thread, dry flattened leaves, feathers, etc.) All other materials are provided. This class will qualify members to use the print studio on a drop-in basis. A 30-min lunch break will be provided.
July 9 (Fri) 10:00-4:00
