Explore the versatile and expressive world of collagraph printmaking with the technique of cutting an image into a matboard plate and building textures on top. Students will go through each step required to create a collagraph print: building a plate, preparing the ink and paper, and using the printing press. Bring an apron or an old shirt, a sketchbook, a folder to put prints into and a reference image. All other materials are provided. This class will qualify members to use the print studio on a drop-in basis.
