Form & Figure – A Human View

Vernon Community Arts Centre 2704a Highway 6, Vernon, BC

We're celebrating the human form!

Featuring works from VCAC’s Life Drawing Classes and other members of the Arts Council, this exhibit seeks to offer a tasteful representation of the human figure and celebrate its beauty, diversity, and complexity.

From the realistic to the abstract, the human figure has intrigued and inspired artists throughout centuries and across cultures. It offers us insight into the range and intricacy of our emotions, and allows us to express beliefs, tell stories, and explore what it means to be human.  Our aim with this show is to provide an opportunity for artists to find creative ways to portray the human figure and for viewers to engage with works of art in a meaningful way.

Exhibit runs daily, October 5 to 31 and admission is always free.  For those that wish to make a donation, we will accept with gratitude and put funds back into our community arts programming.
