Shades of Gray – Show & Sale
February 2 - February 27
The VCAC invites you to visit our February Show and Sale featuring “Shades of Gray“! Artists will cast aside their colour palettes and focus on the visual power of art in grayscale shades. Lying between black and white, creating in shades of gray encourages the artist to concentrate on shadow, composition, value, lighting, and form, and to focus on the image or subject. It can also be a powerful way to express emotion or draw importance through symbolism.
Works submitted in all mediums by artists of all abilities and ages.
