The health & wellbeing of our staff, visitors and students is paramount. We require everyone entering the building to wear a mask at all times and maintain a social distance of 2 metres (6 feet). These measures are fundamental to keeping our doors open and being able to deliver arts programming to our community. Please do your part to show kindness and follow all health and safety protocols. If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of Covid-19, do not enter the building. While we would love to see you, we want to see you when you feel better.

We continue to monitor and limit the number of people in classrooms and throughout the Arts Centre to ensure we meet social distancing guidelines. Hand sanitizer is available to everyone upon entry into the building and in all rooms. Please use this and continue to wash your hands.  Staff are practicing stringent hygiene and safety protocols and have increased the frequency and thoroughness of cleaning and sanitization. The Arts Centre continues to operates at reduced hours to implement these measures: We are open Monday to Thursday, 9:30am – 9:00pm, and Saturday, 9:30am – 4:30pm. We close for daily sanitization between 12:30-1:30pm and 4:30-5:00pm.

Our Studio Drop-in Program remains by appointment only. The same is in place for artists picking up or dropping off work for exhibits and the art shop.  Special measures have been put in place for our annual Artsolutely Sale in December.

Our staff and management team are working hard to meet and exceed guidelines set out by WorkSafe BC and our provincial and regional health authorities because your safety and comfort while using the facility is our highest priority.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

We appreciate your ongoing cooperation, kindness, and understanding as we navigate these interesting times. Let’s all stay safe so we can all create!
