Let’s stay safe so we can continue to create!

Masks are mandatory at the Vernon Community Art Centre and must be worn at all times, including while attending classes. As outlined in the Government of BC mask mandate order, a face shield is not a substitute for a mask as it has an opening below the mouth. If you have a medical exemption, please contact the Art Centre and speak to the Manager to discuss your options.

Social distancing:  Please maintain a social distance of 2 metres (6 feet) from others.  Class sizes are limited and we continue to monitor and limit the number of people throughout the Arts Centre to ensure we meet provincial regulations. Studio Drop-in Programs remain by appointment only.

Hygiene and Sanitization:   We have increased the frequency and thoroughness of cleaning and sanitization throughout the building. Hand sanitizer is available to everyone upon entry into the building and every room has hand sanitizer and surface cleaners available for anyone to use.

If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of Covid-19, do not enter the building. While we would love to see you, we want to see you when you feel better.

Our staff and management team are working hard to meet and exceed guidelines set out by WorkSafe BC and our provincial and regional health authorities as these measures are fundamental to keeping our doors open, and being able to deliver arts programming to our community. Please do your part to show kindness and follow all health and safety protocols.

If you have any questions or concerns, or would like more information, please contact the management team at 250-542-6243 or manager@vernonarts.ca.
