Explore florals through an abstract lens with fun and creative textured backgrounds and new floral techniques. This workshop is designed for students who have some experience with watercolour and want to build on those skills. Using pen and inks take your watercolours to the next level.

Supply list: 140 lb cold press watercolour paper, student grade watercolour paper,  watercolour paints, a white mixing palette, white gouache, brushes (round 2 & 8, flat 1” & 1/4”, fine rigger/liner), waterproof ink pens (at least black), Uniball Sign (gold gel pen), masking fluid, 2 corrugated plastic boards 16” X 20”, green painters’ tape, pencil, eraser, & sketch book. Suggested optional supplies: piece of Mr. Clean magic eraser, small sponge, small mist spray bottle, palette knife or old credit card, a clean rag, a smock or apron, and a carrying bag.

Many of the supplies can be purchased from the Arts Centre with members receiving a 10% discount.
