Instructor: Sabrina Boulay

In this three-day workshop, participants will learn to create their very own functional and beautiful teapot. The first day will centre on the construction of the teapot. Learn how to craft handles and spouts with precision and attention to detail, exploring various styles and attachment methods. On day two, participants will refine their work, explore surface texture and other decorative techniques to create their own unique, personalized teapot. Students will return on day three to put the finishing touches on their teapots using washes, underglazes, & glazes.

Pre-requisite: Experience in clay is recommended although prior hand building experience is not required. All participants must be 15 year or older. This class does not qualify students to use the clay studio independently.

It is recommended that you bring your own tools, but basic hand building tools will be provided as well as all other materials.
