Instructor: Barry Rafuse

This workshop is designed for experienced artists wishing to expand on their painting skills. Students will experiment with mixed media including acrylic, watercolour, ink, pencil and pastel. This will be an opportunity for experimentation and creativity. Participants are encouraged to approach exercises loosely and playfully. Please bring a lunch on 2nd & 3rd days.

Suggested supply list:  Good quality watercolour paper or canvas (your choice of sizes and quantities), sponge, paper towel, oil pastels, watercolour paint, acrylic paint, masking tape, container for water (ice cream pail), pencil, eraser, spray bottle, paint brushes, toothbrush, hair dryer, gouache paint, charcoal, saran wrap/wax paper, masking fluid.

Note on supplies: The course emphasizes mixed media, but students are encouraged to work with what they enjoy. No need to spend a fortune on supplies.
