They would have experienced the magic of using torches to craft intricate, organic shapes in glass, shapes that would be impossible to cut by hand. By delving into the realm of powders, metals, and mica, they could have broadened their artistic horizons with glass. The class would have included a study of firing schedules and techniques to gain deeper insight into the fusing process. Participants could have used a ring saw to fashion one-of-a-kind shapes and learned how to drill precise holes in glass. If there had been interest, the class would have explored vitrigraph firing, unlocking the potential for truly unique designs.
