Amy Kermociev
Amy was first introduced to clay in 2007. She attended classes and pursued it as a hobby for close to a decade before she decided to move to the mountains of Nelson BC, and enroll in the Kootenay School of the Arts Ceramics program. Amy completed her schooling in 2017 and moved back to Vernon B.C where she started making functional work and teaching during the winter months. “I love teaching and helping students discover the world of clay. I use structured classes and one on one coaching during class time to help students learn the skills they need to make their own functional pieces".
From Spring to Fall, Amy is busy running her flower farm business, Hawthorn Farm Studio, providing flower bouquets to grocery stores from Kamloops to Penticton, A La Carte floral designs, and DIY buckets for weddings and other special events.
